RIFT — Esports Organization
We don't play. We take.
An aggressive editorial site for a competitive esports org, built to show off kinetic typography and velocity. GSAP SplitText drives a giant load-in wordmark and every section heading; content leans with scroll velocity; a pinned horizontal track scrubs the roster sideways; glitch-avatar player cards, a live match ticker and a self-drawing trophy timeline complete it. Loud on purpose — and still WCAG-disciplined and reduced-motion safe.

Backend · CMS / forms
Roster, results, titles and news are typed data blocks — wire to any headless CMS; the trials application form connects to any provider.
Delivered as full Next.js source. Swap the roster, results and news data, retheme the two accents, and wire the trials form to your provider.
What makes it special
Typography as the hero
A viewport-filling wordmark load-in built with GSAP SplitText (per-character clip-path reveal), an outlined kinetic marquee behind it, and a skewed diagonal stat slash. Every section heading rises word-by-word on scroll.
Motion that reacts to you
Content leans with scroll velocity — a GSAP quickTo skew that springs back to rest — so the whole page feels physical and alive without a single video or image.
A pinned horizontal roster
The roster section pins and scrubs a track of player cards sideways as you scroll; each card carries a giant jersey number, gamertag, role and K/D, with a procedural channel-split 'glitch avatar' drawn entirely in SVG.
Complete org IA
Home, a filterable 12-player roster, a self-drawing trophy timeline with count-up stats, an editorial news index with a full article, and a validated trials-application flow — everything a real org site needs.
Loud but accessible
Pure red is reserved for large display type only; body copy stays high-contrast; tabs and forms carry proper ARIA; and every SplitText/skew/pin sits behind prefers-reduced-motion, degrading to a calm, fully-visible layout.
